Luau in Leos 2018
This was my first full out meet for this year. We started on beam. My routine was back-handspring layout, flutter jump to split 3/4, front aerial, switch leap split jump, and a run up tuck full as my dismount. I scored a 9.400 and placed 3rd.
On floor, I was last to compete. My passes were double back, front layout front full, and run up front rudi. My leap pass was switch ring switch half and my turn was a double turn. I scored a 9.300 and placed 4th.
On vault, I competed a tuck full. It was a 9.800 start value and I scored a 9.225. I placed 5th on vault.
this was the first meet I would compete bars. My warmup was a bit weird but my meet routine was much better. My routine was: clear hip uphill, clear hip giant half shoot-over, giant double back. I scored an 8.700 and placed 6th.
I got a score of 36.625 as my all around and I placed 3rd. I was so happy to be able to participate in all four events again. I am ready to kill it at State!

JPAC Midwest Showdown 2018
This was my second meet of the season. I competed three events this time: vault, beam, and floor. We started on floor and I kept the same passes as in Coaches Spectacular except I used both hands into my double back. I scored a 9.475.
Then we went to vault. My warm up wasn't very good but I just let that go. I competed a yurchenko tuck and scored an 8.250 because I took about five steps out of it.
Then we went to bars. I warmed up bars just to get the meet feel, but I didn't compete because I didn't have a routine ready to go yet.
On beam, this was going to be the first meet this season I would do my back handspring layout. I scored a 9.125 on my routine and could not have been happier. I was proud of myself!

Coaches Spectacular 2018
This was my first meet of the season. I only competed two events, but boy was I happy to be competing again! I did both a floor and a beam routine with no hands. On beam I nailed my flight, which was a front aerial back-tuck, and I also did my front kick over well, but unfortunately, I fell on my split 3/4. I scored a score of 8. 700. Then we went to floor and I did a one-arm round off double back, a run up rudi as my second pass, and a lay full as my last pass. I scored a 9.000. Obviously, this was not my best meet, but it was a good start.

Wrist Surgery (November 16, 2017)
Last Summer, I was trying new things and learning some skills and all of a sudden, my wrist started to bother me. We went to the doctor and they said it was a stress fracture so they put me in a pink cast. I was in it for four weeks and my pain wasn't getting any better. We went to the doctor again and I had to get an MRI. That was when they realized I had something called Gymnast Wrist, which meant I needed surgery. Thankfully, we caught it at a perfect time because I only needed the small surgery, which was shutting down my growth plate, rather than having to shave off some of my bone. I was put in another cast for another four weeks. I am now starting to come back fully; right now I am practicing all four events with limited numbers. I am extremely lucky to be able to start training and competing again.
