JPAC Midwest Showdown 2017
Midwest Showdown was this weekend, but I could only participate on 2 events because I hurt my thumb the week before. I ended up breaking it. 😞
The team started on vault. I helped with the mats and cheered the girls on.
Then, we rotated on to bars. Again, I helped with mats, moving the boards for board mounts, and cheering my team on.
Next, we moved to beam. I did a no hand beam routine with my flight as a front aerial back tuck. I stayed on the beam and scored a 9.175. Not too bad for practicing a whole new routine in just three days!
Lastly, floor. I used one of my arms in one of my tumbling passes. I did my front double as my first pass, one-arm roundoff 1 1/2 front pike, and a front layout front full as my last pass. I scored a 9.425. There was a three way tie for first place on floor, but I placed third since I only competed two events.
I had a pretty good meet. I wish I could've competed all four events, but things happen for a reason. I was also happy to contribute my floor score to help CGA take home the gold.

Buckeye Classic 2017
We started on Beam. I had a pretty solid warm up. I was second to compete. I hit my routine and scored a 9.350.
Next, we went to floor. It was not my best performance, I fell on my front double and scored an 8.300.
Then, vault. I competed my full at this meet. I was successful and scored a 9.450. I placed 5th on vault.
Lastly, we went to bars. I was third to compete, I had a great warmup and I felt very confident. As I do my cast handstand I tip over the bar. I was frustrated but I took a deep breath and finished my routine. I scored an 8.550.
This was obviously not a very good meet for me, but everyone has some good meets and everyone has some bad ones. I am not going to let this affect me because I know for a fact, I will have better meets.
